1. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing any products on this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our website.

2. Amendment of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale
PLEUN VAN DIJK reserves the right to modify the General Terms and Conditions of Sale unilaterally and at any time. Changes to the General Terms and Conditions, once published online, will be applicable to all orders placed thereafter.
These General Terms and Conditions contain important information, particularly regarding guarantees and limits of liability. You hereby acknowledge that you have read and accepted them.

3. The Products
Product Descriptions: PLEUN VAN DIJK shall make every effort to ensure that photographic representations of the products are as accurate as possible. However, all products are handmade, and there may be slight differences between the actual product and the photo. Any irregularities in design are part of the uniqueness of the pieces.
Pricing Policy: The prices of the products are indicated in euros and include 21% VAT. Prices may be modified at any time. However, it is understood that the price shown on the website at the time the order is confirmed shall be the only price applicable to the buyer.
The total amount payable to PLEUN VAN DIJK for an order is the sum of the prices (including VAT) of all the products ordered, as indicated on the website at the time of the order (Product Subtotal), plus any applicable delivery charges.
Availability: All items are subject to limited stock and are available for return or exchange only according to our Return Policy.
Responsibility: You are responsible for determining that the products are suitable for your intended use.

4. Orders and Payments
Order Acceptance: Once an order is placed, we will send an order confirmation to the provided email address. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including if items are unavailable, there are inaccuracies in pricing, or if fraud is suspected.
Payment: Payment is required at the time of placing the order. Payments shall be made by credit card or PayPal, through the secure systems Stripe and the PayPal platform. The information transmitted is encrypted, and no third party has access to it while it is being transmitted on the network.
Taxes and Duties: Depending on your location, additional taxes or import duties may apply, which are the buyer’s responsibility.

5. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping Policy: We offer worldwide shipping. Shipping fees and estimated delivery times are provided at checkout. Delays due to customs, weather, or carrier issues are outside our control. Items will be shipped within 14 days from the order date.
Products are available for delivery to the address of your choice. It is your responsibility to provide accurate details to ensure proper delivery of your order.
Delivery Issues: If your package is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us at info@pleunvandijk.com within 14 days of the expected delivery date.
In the event that PLEUN VAN DIJK is delayed in fulfilling the order due to an unforeseeable event beyond its control, PLEUN VAN DIJK shall not be held responsible, and the deadline for fulfilling the order will be extended for the duration of the said event considered a case of unforeseeable circumstances.

6. Returns and Refunds
Return Policy: In accordance with Article 6:230o of the Dutch Civil Code, the buyer has the right to return any item(s) that are unsuitable within 14 days of receiving the order, at their own expense and risk, for an exchange or refund. This right of withdrawal can be exercised without penalty. However, the cost of returning the item(s) will be for the buyer, and the shipping conditions must match those of the original delivery. The returned product(s) must be sent back in their original, intact packaging, and in perfect condition for resale (unused, unsoiled, undamaged, etc.), along with an indication of the order number associated with the products. If these conditions are not met, the item(s) will not be returned, refunded, or exchanged.
Pleun van Dijk advises the Customer to return products with tracking or additional insurance to ensure compensation for the real market value of the products in case of damage, theft, or loss during transport.

Refunds: Once the buyer exercises their right of withdrawal within the legal timeframe, PLEUN VAN DIJK commits to reimbursing the total amount paid (excluding return shipping costs) within 14 days of the withdrawal notification, in accordance with Article 6:230s of the Dutch Civil Code. If the 14-day period ends on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday, the deadline is extended to the next working day.
If the return of the product(s) is due to an error on the part of PLEUN VAN DIJK, all return costs will be fully reimbursed to the Customer.
Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or there was an error in the order.
In case of defect: PLEUN VAN DIJK pays the most attention to the quality of its products. If, however, despite all the quality checks made, a defect is to be reported, we invite you to make a complaint by e-mail to info@pleunvandijk.com within a maximum of 72 hours from the delivery of the order. After this period, no claim will be taken into account. The complaint must be motivated and accompanied by proof of the defect (photographs for example). Upon receipt of the complaint formulated by the customer, PLEUN VAN DIJK undertakes to send an e-mail to the Customer acknowledging receipt of the claim.
In case of proven defect, the refund including the price of the product concerned will be made without delay and at the latest within 14 working days following the date of “notification of acceptance of assumption”.
